PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) and RHE (Relationships and Health Education is taught in all year groups and focuses on key areas such as emotional and physical health, family, friendships and relationships, living in wider world, safety (including online safety) and first aid.
Non statutory sex education is taught in Years 6. Parents/carers are always welcome to discuss any concerns they may have in the way sex education is presented to the children. Parents/carers can withdraw their children from all or part of the sex education provided, except that which is required as part of the Science curriculum. In addition to this, our PSHE/RHE lessons focus on our school behaviours (resilient, brave, respectful, kind and motivated) as well as British Values.
